Commuter-Daypack

I bought one of these almost a decade ago, and used it all day every day since then. It's *still* perfectly usable, though battered and soaked with a decade of hard sweat. I went to buy a new one (to be a bit more presentable), afraid of what the same product would be like now, so much later, and what would have been changed. Nothing has changed! Thank you SOOO much Ortieb, for not changing things just for the sake of change! This is so rare these days! It was a perfect backpack, and it's still a perfect backpack! The volume is ideal, the straps are comfortable, heavy loads are secure and sit well while riding, the closure works great and doesn't wear out, it's completely waterproof, and the insert, pockets, and laptop sleeve work perfectly, and they easily pop out for cleaning/drying. As long as they are making these backpacks there's honestly no point in bothering with anything else.

Build quality is fantastic. The closure is great, easily adjustable, and far more durable than a plastic clip. The pads along the back help prevent irregular shaped objects from pushing into your back and the small side zip pouch is great for storing your id or other small items so that you don't need to empty the pack to get at it. The removable laptop sleave adds to its versatility. I've been using it for weeks with zero complains. Would highly recommend.
