WARRANTY AND SERVICE

We aim to help people actively spend their leisure time outdoors – no matter the weather conditions. To achieve this goal, we developed outdoor equipment that is waterproof, highly functional, durable, reliable and made in Germany. Our products function under the most extreme conditions, that is why their development is based on users such as cycle couriers or globetrotters, who use our products under the most extreme conditions. Our consumer's needs are the main focus of our business.

WARRANTY

ORTLIEB products have the reputation of being indestructible. It is important that our products have a long lifespan and sustainability. We promise is 100% waterproof capabilities: we give 5 years warranty from the date of purchase on materials and manufacturing. This is far longer than the legally regulated warranty period. The durability of ORTLIEB products (often more than 20 years) allows our customers to effectively save resources.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS

We are looking forward to your feedback. Our ORTLIEB consumer's feedback is important to us, it influences our product designs and improvements. Your opinion will always be valued.

Furthermore we are represented at numerous trade shows and events such as Eurobike, and will be happy to talk to you in person. Please find current information on shows and events on our facebook page.

ORTLIEB offers a 5-year limited, non-transferable, warranty on all new products purchased through an authorized ORTLIEB retailer against manufacture defect.

Bags acquired second-hand, or via unauthorized 3rd Party retailers (such as eBay or Amazon) are not eligible for warranty coverage through ORTLIEB CANADA.

ORTLIEB CANADA accepts no liability for any claims relating to normal wear and tear, improper product use, failure to follow assembly or mounting instructions, product modifications, or improper storage. The warranty does not cover material abrasion, holes, tears, cuts, or other damages that occur as a result of an external variable or event (i.e. bicycle accident).

ORTLIEB CANADA does not assume responsibility for the cost of shipping an item to ORTLIEB CANADA for assessment, or replacement. That cost is the responsibility of the consumer.

Please contact info@ortlieb.ca to submit a warranty inquiry. If your product is replaced, the date of the original purchase shall still apply as the reference date for the 5-year warranty period.
