Handlebar Mounting-Set QR

I used this product with the ORTLIEB Handlebar Pack Flex bag. In the bag I had a sleeping bag, hammock, lining, towel, clothes. I weighed it all and it came out exactly 2002 grams + the weight of the bag. The mount was not able to hold the bag. After each hole in the road, the gray rope had to be pulled up because the bag was lowering slightly. I absolutely do not recommend this mount for this application. I really do not know what load this mount can hold (unless only even asphalt). The idea for this product is great but unfortunately it does not work

I've been using an Ortlieb Ultimate handlebar bag for years but never really liked having the mount on my handlebars when I wasn't using the bag. I had the mount that came with the bag on one bike and Klickfix mounts on my other bikes, but all of these required me to remove the handlebar to attach or remove the mount and required periodic replacement of hard-to-get parts for the mount. When I first saw the Handlebar Bag QR last year, I thought "Too bad it's too wide to fit my bike but if only you could get this kind of mount for the Ultimate bag!" Then, this year, I saw the new QR mounting set on the Ortlieb.ca website and ordered immediately. I am looking forward to using it!
